2. Which data do we process?
Depending on how you use the platform, we may process your name, contact details, account and profile data, search preferences, property details and images, contact messages and lead data, payment and invoice data, and technical data such as IP address, device, browser and log data.
3. What do we use data for?
We use personal data to provide, secure and improve the platform, manage accounts, handle contact messages and search preferences, publish and manage property listings, forward contact requests to the relevant seller, process payments and invoices, and comply with legal obligations. The legal basis depends on the purpose and may be performance of a contract, a legal obligation, our legitimate interest or consent.
4. Manually entered and automatically supplied listings
Sellers can enter property data, text and images themselves. We may also receive property data, images, object IDs and status information through automated data feeds, JSON files, API connections or other provider systems. The exact data depends on the provider and connection. We use it to check, publish, update or remove listings.
5. Contact messages, leads, accounts and search preferences
Information submitted through a contact form is used to handle your message and, where you contact us about a property, to forward it to the relevant seller. A message or lead may include your name, email address, question, property details, date and time, IP address and referring page. You may request deletion of a search preference at any time.
6. Sharing with others
We share data only when necessary for the stated purposes, with your consent or where required by law. Contact requests may be shared with the seller of the relevant property. We may use processors for hosting, email, security, technical support, storage and payment. Yeurop does not sell personal data.
7. Retention periods
We do not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purpose. There is no general ten-year retention period under the GDPR.
- Contact messages and leads: up to 2 years after completion, unless longer retention is needed for a dispute or legal obligation.
- Accounts and search preferences: while active and up to 2 years after inactivity.
- Property listings and related communication: as needed for the service and up to 2 years afterwards.
- Payment and invoice data: 7 years where a statutory tax retention period applies.
- Security and server logs: up to 12 months, unless longer retention is needed to investigate an incident.
8. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. More information is available on our Information Security page. No internet connection or storage method can guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability or object to processing. You may withdraw consent at any time. Send your request to admin@yeurop.com. We normally respond within one month and may request information to verify your identity. Please do not send a complete copy of your identity document.
10. Deletion and objections
Describe which data or processing your request concerns. After verification, we will delete or restrict data where legally possible. Some data may have to be retained because of a legal obligation or for legal claims. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
11. Cookies
Information about cookies is available in our separate Cookie Policy. You can change your cookie preferences through the cookie settings on the website.
12. Changes
We may change this privacy statement when our services or the law change. The current version is published on this page.
This statement is general information and does not constitute individual legal advice.
